Selection Policy for Admissions
Families requesting admissions to All Saints Catholic School will be reviewed according to the following priorities.
Children whose parents are registered, financially supporting and who are actively involved in parish ministries and attend weekly liturgies at one of the following member parishes or another Catholic parish:
- The Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola
- St. Christopher Catholic Church
- St. Jude Catholic Church
- St. Patrick Catholic Church
- St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church
- St. Peter Catholic Church
"Supporting" is defined and determined by the pastor of the family's registered parish and requires attending Sunday liturgy on a regular basis, being active in the parish ministries and contributing to the financial support of the parish through the use of the weekly envelope and/or online giving.
Non-membered parish families requesting admission to All Saints will be selected depending on space availability. The following priorities will be implemented:
- Catholic families with NO PARISH affiliation
- Non-Catholic families
Families are responsible for sending the Family Acknowledgement Form to their parish pastor for approval. This form must be received back from your pastor to receive the discounted rate. The response on the Family Acknowledgement Form determines your tuition rate, not the school.
Immunization Policy
“The Diocese of Palm Beach requires that, prior to attendance in school, each student present or have on file with the school a certificate of immunization for the prevention of those communicable diseases for which immunization is required by the Department of Health. A completed Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form DH 680) is required to document the administration of prescribed immunization doses. An exemption from immunization requirements is permissible only with a physician’s certification as to the need for either a temporary or permanent medical exemption. An exemption from immunization requirements is not permissible for religious, philosophical, personal, or other reasons.” Handbook Policy
Procedure for Obtaining a Medical Exemption
1. Prior to acceptance, the parent presents to the school a Form DH 680 (“Florida Certification of Immunization”) completed by a medical doctor. The medical doctor that signs the form has to be a member of Florida Shots.
2. If the parent is requesting a medical exemption from immunizations, the school emails a copy of this form DH 680 to The Office of Catholic Schools. The Office of Catholic Schools verify the medical exemption through the Florida Shots website (http://flshotsusers.com/).
3. The Office of Catholic Schools makes the final decision as to whether the medical exemption is granted, and then notifies the school.
4. The form letter/template is completed on school letterhead by the principal if a medical exemption is granted by The Office of Catholic Schools.
