6th Grade Field Trip to Museum of Discovery & Science, Fort Lauderdale, FL

DESTINATION: Museum of Discovery & Science, Fort Lauderdale, FL

TIME: Students to arrive at All Saints by 7:45 a.m.  Return by 3:15 p.m.

COST: $34.00 covers bus transportation, museum exhibits, and IMAX Theater.  Payment for this trip must be returned to the student’s Homeroom Teacher with the required permission slip by Monday, February 1, 2016.

LUNCH: Students are to pack a lunch, including a drink.  Cookies or ice cream may be purchased on the museum grounds, if desired.

GIFT SHOP: Students will have time to browse and/or purchase items in the museum’s Gift Shop after lunch. 

ITINERARY: All students will participate in the Roller Coaster Physics Lab.  Students will learn about friction, energy, and gravity while having fun building their own roller coaster.

Students will tour and experience the following exhibits:

IMAX Theater – Students will view the 3-D film “National Parks Adventure.”
